Return to your body, supported by community

When you've reached the point of being burnt out, chances are you've been hitting the snooze button on your body's needs for a long time. In this supportive small-group container, we'll explore ways to reconnect with our bodies so we can relearn how to listen to them.

Through gentle, guided practices in movement, breath, and rest, we'll start to understand what our bodies have been trying to tell us and respond with what they need. You'll leave with a deeper understanding of your own needs, and more self-compassion to meet them, however imperfectly.

This program is for you if:

  • You find yourself delaying your body's basic needs because of overwhelming responsibilities

  • You're not sure what you need or want anymore

  • You need to rest but struggle to slow down

  • You want to repair your relationship with your body

  • You find it helpful to learn from others' processes

  • You're ready to make space for yourself, even in small ways

Meet your guide

Hi, I'm Cassie. I'm a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT) and registered psychotherapist (qualifying) with over a decade of training in trauma and nervous system healing. I love bringing yoga and therapy together in a group setting. So much of the magic happens in coming together with shared experiences—hearing other group members share can help us in ways we didn't even know we needed.

FAQ

  • Sessions aren't recorded to protect group privacy. If you miss one, you can use your second private check-in to go over what you missed, and you'll receive the journal prompts by email. The program cost stays the same.

  • $750 total, payable by e-transfer or credit card. You can pay in full or in 4 installments: $150 at your intake session, then $200 on February 12th, February 26th, and March 12th.

  • If you have coverage for "psychotherapy" in Ontario, you can submit your receipt for reimbursement. BC coverage isn't available yet, but I'm working on it.

  • You're always encouraged to choose what you are and aren't willing to share. If there's something you'd rather share privately with me, you can do that in our check-ins or via email.

  • Group members collectively agree to keep other’s information private. If you live in a shared space, please ensure you wear headphones during sections where your fellow group members are sharing.

  • It helps to have a mat or carpet, blocks, a bolster or pillows, blankets, and an eye covering. But don't worry if you're missing things — gather what you can and we'll work with it. You'll also need a private space where you feel comfortable sharing.

  • You can turn your camera off during practices. We ask that cameras stay on during check-ins and check-outs.

  • Yes. This is an inclusive space for all bodies, genders, and backgrounds. If you have accessibility needs, let's talk about how we can accommodate you.

Ready to make space for yourself?

Your road to disconnection didn't happen because of your choices alone. There are many systemic factors beyond your control that brought you here. In this program, we'll work with the choices you do have available over something that is inherently yours—your body.
