Descansos: Trauma-Informed Yoga Ceremony for Grieving Hearts

Inspired by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés' book Women Who Run With The Wolves

Funerals have been a part of the human experience for at least 100,000 years. We tend to know what to do when loss comes in the form of death. But what about the other many losses in our lives?

Dr. Estés suggests that we need ceremonies and rituals to support us through the many other big and small losses of our lives. This ceremony is inspired by exactly that.

This ceremony weaves movement, guided self-reflection, and readings to help you acknowledge and honour the losses in your own life.

Grief work can be overwhelming, please proceed with care and reach out for support as needed.
