Rising: Trauma-informed Morning Yoga

Healing is not just about coping. It’s about remembering, creating, choosing a new way forward. We need nourishment in order to imagine a new way forward for ourselves and the world. We need ways of anchoring in hope, possibility, love and care.

This practice is designed to meet you in the morning, or any time you want to wake up some energy with movement and breath! The practice is inspired by Hatha and Vinyasa traditions. As always, options are provided along the way, and you’re always encouraged tailor the practice to the needs of your body.

All you need is comfortable clothing you can move in, a mat or carpet, and any yoga props you have (optional).
